Summer

Remember how you went to your cousins’ house and you just played all day long and when you go back inside the you’re told to go straight for a shower , then afterwards you just get all dirty again?

That was Summer.

Remember how you go on long road trip with your family and you keep asking, “Are we there yet?”

That was Summer.   

Remember how you go to school on a hot summer day and you’re walking around at morning tea or lunch with no hat then you see a duty teacher and you try to make an excuse for not wearing one

That was Summer.  

Remember how you walk to the park with your cousins and when you get there you just flop down on the warm, dry grass and the sound of swaying trees makes you feel so relaxed

That was Summer.
